Trial terms and Fair Billing Policy
These terms apply to the free WorkVitals trial started on this website. WorkVitals is operated by Therapy On The Go (Pty) Ltd (CIPC 2022/668078/07). Version trial-terms-2026-10-28. All prices exclude VAT.
1. The free trial
The trial lasts 14 days from the day you start it and includes every Enterprise feature. It is for organisations: one trial per organisation email domain. The person who starts it becomes the owner of the organisation account and must set up two-step sign-in (an authenticator app).
2. Your card
We ask for a card to confirm that you are a real organisation. Our payment provider checks the card with a zero-value authorisation, or the smallest amount it supports, and reverses it immediately. We never see or store your card number: we keep only the provider's card reference, the card brand and the last four digits.
3. Reminder, and no charge before it
We remind you 3 days before the trial ends, in the app and by email. We never charge before that reminder, and never sooner than 3 days after it.
4. What happens at the end
Unless you choose a paid plan, you move to the free Starter Lite plan when the trial ends: 1 pulse survey a quarter, your statutory compliance calendar and the employee portal. You are not locked out and your data stays. Only if you yourself ticked "continue automatically" (it is unticked by default) do you move to the paid plan you chose, at the published monthly price shown before you entered your card, billed monthly in advance on active employees. You can switch "continue automatically" off at any time before the trial ends.
5. Cancel in one click
The owner can cancel at any time in Billing with one click. Cancelling moves you to Starter Lite straight away, we forget the card reference, and nothing is charged. You can still export your data.
6. 72-hour no-questions refund
If you are charged for a paid plan and did not use WorkVitals after the charge, tell us within 72 hours of the charge and we refund it in full, no questions asked. HOE finance processes the refund to the same card (normally within 7 business days, depending on your bank). Contact: {{BILLING_CONTACT}}.
7. Fair Billing Policy
Paid platform plans are billed per active employee per month. Employees with no activity in a month (no sign-in, survey invitation, course, document acknowledgement or case activity) are credited on the next invoice. Because anonymous survey answers are never linked to people, the credit is worked out by HOE finance from activity that is not anonymous, always in your favour, and issued as a credit note with your next invoice. Monthly minimums still apply.
8. Your information
You are the responsible party for your employees' information; Therapy On The Go (Pty) Ltd is the operator under POPIA. Data is stored in South Africa (AWS Cape Town region). See the privacy notice for how we use the details you give us when you start a trial. Marketing messages are sent only if you opted in separately.
9. Cooling-off and your rights
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, where they apply to you. {{CPA_ECTA_APPLICABILITY}}
